Effective February 1st 2026, the Environmental Tax currently ranges from approximately $2.00 US to $9.00 US dollars per person per night. Payable locally directly to the hotel upon check in. Rates are subject to change.
As part of a phased renovation project at Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal, a number of rooms will be renovated beginning April 10th with an estimated completion date of December 20th, 2026. Working hours will be between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
All efforts will be made to minimize any impact to the guests during this time.
