No action is required. If you have booked a WestJet Vacations Quebec package on board WestJet (excluding e-packages and flight only bookings) prior to November 24, 2025, for travel from November 25, 2025, onwards, and haven’t paid for checked bags, we’re automatically adding one free checked bag per guest to your booking.

Starting November 24, 2025, travellers who have purchased a WestJet Vacations Quebec package on board WestJet (excluding e-packages and flight only bookings) for travel after November 25, 2025, will receive their first checked bag free. A free checked bag does not apply retroactively. If you booked and paid for a checked bag prior to November 24, 2025, a $100 future travel voucher will be issued for each round-trip bag purchased. The voucher(s) will be sent to the email address on file. If you have booked through a travel agency, the voucher will be sent to your travel agent.

All new WestJet Vacations Quebec package bookings made for travel from November 25, 2025, onwards, will automatically include one free checked bag per traveller. Applicable only for WestJet Vacations Quebec packages on board WestJet. Note: E-packages and flight-only bookings are not eligible for this offer. Additional checked bags, as well as oversized checked bags, will incur additional fees.
