Special assistance

Where can I find information on travelling with a mobility aid, wheelchair or CPAP machine?

If you require special services or assistance while travelling on Sunwing Airlines, the request may be made at the time of booking through the My Booking Portal to ensure that we are able to make the arrangements requested. If you prefer to speak with a member of the special services team please email us at [email protected] or a member of our Sales Centre at 1-877-665-6045 . Last-minute requests may not be able to be accommodated. Additional costs may apply for some or all of the services required. Please note that some destinations may not provide the same accessibility standards that we are accustomed to in Canada. For all other airlines, please visit their website or contact them directly.

The transfers to and from the airport and hotel are typically standard transfer vehicles and are not adapted vehicles. Your mobility aid likely will not fit on board standard transfer vehicles and you may be required to arrange a separate transfer or adapted vehicle (additional costs my apply). We will do our best in all instances to try and accommodate your allergies; however, we are unable to guarantee an environment that is free of airborne allergens.

It is your responsibility as the passenger to bring your own allergy medication, including your own EpiPen (epinephrine auto-injector) in your carry-on that can be quickly accessed, if required. If you have food allergies, we highly recommend that you bring your own food on board.

Our top priority at Sunwing is the health, safety, and comfort of our guests and crew. Guests are advised that air travel may negatively affect their overall medical condition. If a medical emergency occurs onboard an aircraft, coordinating an unplanned landing to access high-quality ground medical care can take additional time to coordinate.

Special requests for your hotel may be made at the time of booking through the My Booking Portal. If you prefer to speak with a member of our Sales Centre you can contact us at 1-877-665-6045. Relay services are also available at 1-800-855-0511 (Voice to TTY) or 711. We’ll be happy to help you with any new or existing reservations.

Any cruise or hotel preferences such as dining times, room locations, bed preferences, etc. that are not associated with special needs must be requested at the time of booking or requested on My Booking Portal. While we will attempt to accommodate special requests, we will not be held responsible if your requests can’t be fulfilled.
